Source the Timeline

Written for Rutgers MI course Children, Literacy, and Reading, this work proposes a children’s library program that facilitates early understanding of primary source material and the concept of history as argument. This is achieved through pairing age-appropriate historical fiction and non-fiction, then interacting with primary source materials through classroom activity. Access the full proposal here.
